The Musée départemental Albert-Kahn preserves the Archives de la Planète from 1909 to 1931, as well as unique photographic and film collections. Its garden includes a Japanese village created in 1897 by Japanese carpenters who had come specially from Japan, with recreated Japanese landscapes, domestic architecture, Asian plants, and echoes of sacred places.

Architecture
The Lipchitz-Miestchaninoff studio houses in Boulogne-Billancourt were commissioned by sculptors Jacques Lipchitz and Oscar Miestchaninoff from Le Corbusier and his cousin Pierre Jeanneret. Their façades and roofs have been listed as historic monuments since 1975; the studio houses are privately owned.
The residential building constructed by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, his cousin and collaborator, from 1931 to 1934 is Le Corbusier’s only apartment building in the Paris region. The 1930s Walk comprises three different routes through Boulogne-Billancourt, where visitors can discover the diversity and richness of 1930s architecture.
Nature
Parc Edmond-de-Rothschild is a 15-hectare green park between the Seine and the Bois de Boulogne. It includes an area planted with yew trees, a small pond with a red footbridge, a Japanese garden, and a playground.
On Île Seguin, Parc départemental Gauthier-Mougin combines a fully rewilded landscape with sloping meadows, protective undergrowth, redesigned banks, car-free paths, and more than 800 planted trees. The park also includes an open-air art trail featuring around twenty works, extending between Pointe des Arts, the park, and the surroundings of La Seine Musicale.
History and Development
La Seine Musicale on Île Seguin combines concert, exhibition, and strolling areas with restaurants and shops related to art and culture. The Pavillon des projets hosts conferences, guided tours, and workshops on the site’s industrial heritage and recent development.
The permanent exhibition at the Pavillon des Projets presents the history of the Renault factories, which were based in Boulogne-Billancourt throughout the 20th century, as well as the transformation of the site into an eco-district, which began in 2004. The Pavillon des projets can be reached by tram line T2 from the Brimborion stop and by metro line 9 from Pont de Sèvres station.
