The Château d’Asnières was built between 1750 and 1752 on the foundations of an earlier country house. The plans were drawn up by Jacques Hardouin-Mansart de Sagonne; Nicolas Pineau and Guillaume II Coustou contributed to the interior and exterior decoration.
