The Musée de Poligny presents collections from ethnology, archaeology, natural history, and fine arts. It also displays a herbarium, dinosaur bones, Quaternary fauna, exotic and ethnological collections, as well as paintings and sculptures brought together in two rooms.

The Parcours de la Tour begins beneath the Traje des Fromagers, a gate at Place des Déportés, and also ends at Place des Déportés, at the corner of Rue H. Friant. Trails
La Balade à Poligny is an easy 4.1-kilometre hiking trail with a stated duration of one hour and leads through the Monts Martin, Grands Roussots, and Chevraudes wine-growing areas.
The Culée de Vaux et Croix du Dan circular route starts in Poligny. The trail offers a viewpoint over the Culée de Vaux, Poligny, the Bresse, and, in clear weather, the town of Dole.
The family-friendly La Coulée Douce cycling circuit is 46 kilometres long, follows streams and forests, passes through wine-growing areas, and returns to Poligny via Tourmont.
