Offlanges: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In Offlanges, the Confrérie de Sainte-Anne has maintained a living tradition since 1616. After a procession, a new bâtonnier receives the statue of Saint Anne every year for a whole year. The Confrérie celebration takes place on the Sunday after 26 July.

Culture

The Église Notre Dame de l’Assomption de la Vierge Marie features an octagonal dome on pendentives with rich stucco elements. Its foundation stone was laid on 6 June 1729; the church is classified as a Monument historique.

In the primary Massif de la Serre and the surrounding villages, 43 Croix pattées have been recorded. These cross shapes can be explored on walks along the paths and through the villages of the northern Jura.

Nature and Trails

Offlanges is located on the Massif de la Serre at an altitude of 330 metres and overlooks the Saône plain. The “Les Racines – 109R” mountain bike circuit passes through the village. The circuit extends from the Grotte de l’Ermitage to the highest point of the Massif de la Serre.

Local Character

At the Domaine de la Bougarde, “Perlants de la Bougarde”, “Mistel” and “l’Ovibigeoise” are served at aperitifs and other events. The Domaine de la Bougarde in Offlanges also offers IGP wines from Franche-Comté that showcase the terroir of the northern Jura.
