Landscape and Waterways
Aisey-et-Richecourt is located in the Haute vallée de la Saône et du Coney landscape unit; Richecourt is situated on a hill above the river. The Saône crosses the southeastern part of Aisey-et-Richecourt.

History, Architectural Heritage and Craftsmanship
The Château de Richecourt was part of the defence system connected to the Saône. The fortress of the Château de Richecourt was built in the second half of the 13th century by Foulque de Rigney.
The Église Saint-Julien stands in Aisey between the presbytery and the château. The parish of Aisey is first mentioned in 1172. The Église Saint-Julien is a Neo-Gothic church.
In Richecourt, below the church, there is a manor house with a dovecote.
The covered washhouse on Rue de la Charlotte has two basins, one for washing and one for rinsing. It was built according to plans by the architect Duret dated 27 June 1830.

The fountain on Grande Rue has been preserved. The adjoining farmhouses on Grande Rue are characteristic of this type of farmstead and have cellar entrances.
