Folelli reveals its landscape by the water: The village has a 4-kilometre-long beach that was once referred to as the “Mer de la Castagniccia”. Near the Folelli district and south of Anghione Beach, there is also San Pellegrino Beach, with an extensive stretch of sand in a sheltered setting.

The banks and numerous canals of the Fium’Alto in Folelli offer walkers a place to relax. The Cardiccia natural site is located at the southern entrance to the Folelli settlement.

The starting point of the Penta–Palancitellu hiking trail is 4 km from the crossroads in the centre of Folelli, in the direction of Orezza; the shaded natural area leads hikers to the Fium’Altu and offers a diverse range of plant life.

Culture
The former gallic acid factory is located in Folelli and is a partially preserved industrial complex. The Christ-Roi Church in Folelli was inaugurated in 1934; its interior was more than doubled in a later extension.
The name Folelli is said to derive from the Corsican expression “I Fulelli” for will-o'-the-wisps. At the A Fiera boutique, visitors are welcomed in the Semidei building to discover and take home Corsican products.
Geographical setting
The urban development of the municipality of Penta-di-Casinca is concentrated in the Folelli district at the strategic junction of the T10, which connects Bastia with the south of the island along the east coast, and on the road to the Castagniccia region.
