Partinello: Holiday Apartments and Houses

The UNESCO World Heritage site “Gulf of Porto: Calanche de Piana, Gulf of Girolata, Scandola Nature Reserve” directly concerns six municipalities, including Partinello. Partinello is located within the Gulf of Porto UNESCO World Heritage site.

The Gradelle-Caspiu coastal area covers 151 hectares in the municipalities of Osani and Partinello. Partinello is part of the core zone of the Vallée du Fango Biosphere Reserve.

Hiking

Several marked and signposted trails around Partinello lead through the maquis and reveal traces of agro-pastoral activities.

One trail leads from the hamlet of Vetriccia to Caspiu Beach. Another trail leads from Caspiu Beach to Miserinu Bay.

The historic hiking trail “A via di u granu” leads from Miserinu via Caspiu to Gradelle.

The recently restored coastal trail begins at Caspiu Beach in Partinello and leads to the beaches of Gradelle in 1 hour 10 minutes and to Miserinu in 1 hour 40 minutes.

Culture

Along the “A via di u granu” trail, visitors can discover old buildings, former gardens and threshing floors.

The coastal trail near Caspiu preserves traces of agro-pastoral use: threshing floors, small houses, enclosures and dry-stone walls.

The Church of Saint-Cerbonius, also known as San Cervone, is located in Pinito in Serriera.

Traditions

Saint Anthony is celebrated in Partinello on 13 June. The celebration includes a mass, a procession and a communal meal.

Transport connections

There is a year-round bus connection between Ajaccio and Porto.
