Trails and landscapes
The Sentier du châtaignier trail runs for 3.5 km from the village of Évisa through centuries-old chestnut groves and Laricio pine forests. Along the way, informative stations with panels explain the chestnut tree in its various aspects.
The trail through the Gorges de la Spelunca connects Évisa with the Genoese Pont de Zaglia. It follows an old mule track, with paved sections and stone walls, through the forests of the Spelunca.
The Sentier de la Sitelle is a circular trail through a Laricio pine forest and follows the route known as the “route des condamnés”.
The mule track through the Gorges de la Spelunca, starting from Évisa at an altitude of 850 m, is equipped with information panels about fauna, flora, the construction of a mule track and the construction of a Genoese bridge.

Culture and history
The Pont de Zaglia was commissioned by the municipality of Évisa in 1797, based on an architectural model from the former Genoese administration. Since 1990, it has been classified as a French “Monument historique”.
The Église Saint-Martin was built in the first half of the 16th century. It houses two 17th-century chalices made of repoussé silver, belonging to the Genoese goldsmithing tradition.
The Sentier de la poésie begins in the heart of Évisa. Using texts by local poets, it conveys the history of the village and an aspect of its local culture.
Water and river
Piscine a madre consists of a series of pools and pools of water between rocks, fed by small cascades and cool water. The Cascade de la Scarpa lies downstream from the natural pools.
The Fleuve de la Spelunca can be accessed from the cemetery of Évisa or from the bridge at Ota.
The hike through the Gorges de la Spelunca from Évisa can be complemented by a picnic break and a swim in the river with its clear, cool water.

The Chemin des châtaigniers from Évisa is indicated as taking approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, with 150 metres of ascent.
The Bergeries de Puscaghia are part of the heritage of the municipality of Évisa and were converted by the Parc Naturel Régional de Corse into a refuge that now accommodates hikers for one or more nights.
