In Viéville, the La Roche Bernard route begins at Place de Vétrus Villa, opposite the nautical landing stage. From there, it follows the towpath of the “Entre Champagne et Bourgogne” Canal towards Vouécourt. The route is 12 km long and takes around three hours on foot. La Roche Bernard is a rocky promontory overlooking the Marne Valley and is designated as a nature area.

On the Vallée de la Marne cycle route, the route follows the towpath of the “Entre Champagne et Bourgogne” Canal for long stretches. From Viéville, it continues along this towpath to Bologne. The cycle route in Viéville also includes a movable bridge.

Culture

The Church of Saint Martin in Viéville was rebuilt between 1762 and 1766 at a new, more centrally located site. It has a single-nave, ceilinged nave and a two-bay, rib-vaulted choir with a flat apse. A keystone in the choir bears the date 1764. The church contains a protected high altar ensemble, considered a protected object, comprising an altar, a reredos, two statues and a painting from the second half of the 18th century; it was protected on 22 July 1983.
