The Église Sainte-Marie-Madeleine in Laferté-sur-Aube is listed as a historic monument and has been protected as such since 19 November 1990. Its documented construction phases date to 1772, 1778 and 1848. François-Nicolas Lancret is recorded as the church’s architect.

Along the Aube in Laferté-sur-Aube, 5.8 km of riverbank is open to fishing. The Aube is classified there as a first-category river. The local anglers’ association, AAPPMA Laferté-sur-Aube, lists the Aube in Laferté-sur-Aube as a fishing spot.
