Culture
Several parts of the Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Rochetaillée date from the 15th century: the two eastern bays of the nave, the side aisles, the bell tower, and the apse. With the exception of the nave, the church was entered in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments on October 21, 1925.
The Château de Rochetaillée is located on private property and can only be viewed from the outside. The historic site of Abbaye Notre-Dame Vauxbons and the Abbaye d'Auberive monastery are located in the vicinity of Rochetaillée. Further afield in the region are the historic sites of Abbaye Notre-Dame de Longuay and Abbaye Saint-Pierre de Poulangy.
The Domaine de Plongerot was acquired in 1847 through a collection among the local dignitaries. The Frères Ouvriers, who were among the administrators of the Domaine de Plongerot, trained generations of young agricultural workers from among the orphans entrusted to them.

The tufa marsh of the Combe des Roches in Rochetaillée and Auberive is supplied with water by numerous seepage points and springs. The hill of Le Maumont is located near Rochetaillée; further afield in the region are Mont Remin and Mont Mercure.
