At the Église Saint-Michel de Pressigny, the two choir bays, the transept chapel and the woodwork have been listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments since 1 February 1929.

The Château de Pressigny is private property and can only be viewed from the outside. The surviving remains include an impressive round tower with loopholes and part of the fortified enclosure.

The Ancienne fontaine de Pressigny (1) has preserved the stones of its oval livestock watering trough and its central water inlet column with decorative sculptures. The monumental washhouse of Pressigny is a former 19th-century washhouse with a natural stone façade and seven regular round arches.

History

The seigneurial domain of Pressigny was divided between a secular lord and the Order of Malta. In the area around Pressigny are the historic site of Abbaye de Belmont, the historic site of Abbaye de Beaulieu-en-Bassigny, the ruins of Abbaye de Cherlieu and the historic site of Abbaye de Vaux-la-Douce.

Nature

The numerous fountains in Pressigny are associated with the presence of several watercourses – Genrupt, Vannon and Rigotte. The hill Mont d'Olivotte is located in the area around Pressigny; the hill Mont Mercure lies in the wider regional surroundings of Pressigny.
