The “Des Loges en Randos” hiking route leads from Étang de Jarnonce to Vitry-aux-Loges. The route at Étang de Jarnonce is an easy, family-friendly hike covering 10.8 kilometres and taking around 2 hours and 45 minutes. At the Jarnonce site, the former ditches and Étang de Jarnonce have been preserved; both can be discovered during the hike. The route follows the Canal d'Orléans to the Moulin Rouge lock and then returns along the canal.
The towpath along the Canal d'Orléans in Vitry-aux-Loges provides cycling connections towards Montargis, Briare and Orléans via the canals and the Loire à Vélo route.

Culture
Vitry-aux-Loges has a Gothic church classified as a historic monument. The Church of Saint-Médard was rebuilt in the 16th century in the Gothic, or ogival, style; remains of an earlier church are visible at the foot of the tower. Inside, Saint-Médard houses an oak tabernacle or altarpiece, as well as a painting of the Adoration of the Magi from the workshop of Orléans painter Pierre Poncet.
History
The former railway line through Vitry-aux-Loges was built in 1874 and connected Orléans with Montargis.
