History and Remembrance
The Carrefour de la Résistance commemorates the killing of resistance fighters and civilians on August 14, 1944. In the 9th century, people from Tours who were fleeing Viking attacks and bringing holy relics upstream built an oratory in Ouzouer-sur-Loire.

The PR de la Loire K11 is 11 km long, has a stated duration of 2 hours 45 minutes, and leads along the sand quarry to the Loire. The PR du Ravoir K12 is 19 km long, has a stated duration of 4 hours 45 minutes, and passes along the Route du Ravoir, the Carrefour de la Résistance, and the Sentier des Sources. Ouzouer-sur-Loire is also located along the Loire à Vélo cycle route.
