Maray: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The “MARAY – Chemin de l’Étang” hiking trail starts at Place de la Mairie in Maray. The approximately 14-kilometre circular route is located in the south of Sologne and is classified as an easy hike with an estimated duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes and a length of 14 kilometres.

Culture

The Foire ancestrale de Maray takes place every year on the second Saturday in September and brings together shops and a wide range of activities.

The parish church of Saint-Aignan in Maray houses a polychrome wooden crucifix dating from the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, as well as a group of figures depicting Saint Anne and the Virgin Mary. Both were listed as protected cultural objects on 6 December 1973. The same parish church also houses the painting “Montée au Calvaire”.

Activities

The 60-hectare site of Arcadie Production in Maray offers riding lessons, riding courses and an equestrian tourism centre. Arcadie Production also offers equestrian shows and entertainment. Equi-Empathie is offered at the Arcadie Production site on the D51 in Maray, France.

The Musée du Cheval is located at the Arcadie Production site in Maray. There, visitors can view and touch the animals up close and observe them moving freely and on the track. Château de la Plaudière and the Ecurie Arcadie (Ferme des Barrets) are mentioned together.
