Culture and History
The Church of Saint Lubin in Muides-sur-Loire is dedicated to Saint Lubin, who was Bishop of Chartres in the 6th century. Following a papal bull issued by Lucius II in 1144, the church belonged to Pontlevoy Abbey. It was rebuilt in the 16th century, particularly the choir; its interior was renovated in the 19th century.
