The Cosson flows through Candé-sur-Beuvron and joins the Beuvron in the lower part of the village. The name of the village is also derived from the confluence of the Beuvron and the Loire.

The Château de Candé in Candé-sur-Beuvron was listed as a historic monument by decree of 25 February 1948. The Château de Candé retains a staircase with a wrought-iron railing, wood panelling and fireplace slabs.

The GR®655 Est long-distance hiking trail passes through Candé-sur-Beuvron. The local hiking trail no. 1, “Entre fleuve et châteaux”, is 14 km long and marked with bars; the old bridge of Candé is one of the sights along its route.
