The church of Saint-Julien-de-Chédon contains a 17th-century stone slab depicting Saint James as a pilgrim and Saint Peter. The knight Joubert Louis, Lord of Saint-Julien-de-Chédon, financed the construction of the church between 1147 and 1154.
Nature
The Étang des Chariots is a pond covering approximately 9 hectares within a natural area of around 20 hectares managed by the municipality of Saint-Julien-de-Chédon. Its water level depends on the level of the Cher; as a result, the pond is a wetland of faunal and floral interest for the Cher Valley. The Arboretum de Saint-Julien is also located on the Route de Villiers, a landscaped area connected to the Villiers washhouse.
