Reugny is located halfway along the lower course of the Brenne, downstream from Château-Renault. Car-Rémi line A connects the town with Tours and Château-Renault.

Culture and history
The church in Reugny was built in the Romanesque style in the 11th and 12th centuries and was rebuilt or extended in the 15th, 16th and 19th centuries. It has a wooden steeple roof covered with slate and featuring a twisted form.
The building known as “Le Navire” was constructed in the 15th and 16th centuries. Its distinctive shape resembles the bow of a ship, which gave it its nickname. Rue des Alènes retains an old streetscape that probably dates back to the Middle Ages. The street’s name refers to the shoemakers’ and saddlers’ crafts practised there, whose practitioners used the awl to pierce leather.
The Reugny washhouse is also part of the town’s historic character. It was built in 1856 by the architect Plailly, who worked in Tours. The three basins were separately intended for washing clothes, washing food and watering animals.
Paths and exploration
The 9 km-long Voie Verte passes through Reugny, Chançay and Vernou-sur-Brenne. It opened in 2014 along the route of a former railway line. On the Saint-Jacques à vélo route, a 7 km-long section begins near the Brenne at Reugny as a voie verte.
The “Petits Explorateurs” activity invites visitors to explore the streets of Reugny and answer questions to put together ten mysterious letters.
