Wine and Regional Tradition
At Caves Cathelineau, an educational tour leads through tuffeau-stone cellars, followed by a tasting of the estate's wines. The tuffeau-stone caves also contain a museum about viticulture, wine and cooperage. Caves Cathelineau offers Vouvray wines in dry, off-dry, sweet and lightly sparkling varieties, made from the Chenin grape variety.
Vignoble Alain Robert welcomes visitors for tours of its cave cellars and wine tastings. Private visitors can book a cellar tour and tasting by prior arrangement. The family-run Vignoble Alain Robert manages 37 hectares of vineyards in Chançay and Noizay; these are classified as AOC Vouvray and Touraine.
Nature
The Sentier de la Tourette runs through a hilly terroir that benefits from the microclimates of the Loire and Brenne valleys.
