Culture and History
The Église Saint-Prix in Noizay was built from the 11th century onwards. It is notable for its stained-glass windows from the 16th and 19th centuries, as well as a 16th-century Pietà.
Wine
Domaine de Beauclair is located on the eastern side of the Vouvray appellation in the municipality of Noizay. There, it offers various tastings of its Vouvray wines in a troglodytic cellar.
Visits to the cellar at Domaine de Beauclair are possible by appointment.
Cycling Route
The Circuit vélo Amboise-Noizay – Boucle 12 cycling loop can be reached from Amboise railway station via the signposted Route 12; this adds 3 km.
It passes through vineyards, hillsides and troglodytic hamlets. The easy cycling loop goes around Noizay and Nazelles-Négron and is approximately 12 km long; a route length of 12.5 km is also given.
