Culture and History

The Église Saint-Pierre de Perrusson was founded in the 11th century by the monks of Cormery. The current building dates from the 10th and 11th centuries and was listed as a historic monument in 1926.

During the renewal of the flooring in Perrusson’s parish church in December 1973, six aligned sarcophagi were uncovered.
