Oulon: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The so-called “Vieux Château” in Oulon is a former fortified house dating from the 12th and 13th centuries, of which a round tower has been preserved. Beneath the structure is a barrel-vaulted cellar dating from the 16th century. Another historic landmark in the village is the Church of Saint-Andoche, a Romanesque church from the late 12th century.

Culture and History
Saint-Andoche is particularly rich in detail at the entrance portal: it features two round-arched arcades and a sculpted tympanum. It depicts God the Father blessing the world, flanked by two adoring angels. Sculpted capitals also adorn the church’s columns and wall piers; their representations show mythical creatures, human figures and floral motifs.
Historical buildings and sites can also be found beyond Oulon, in locations at varying distances. The historic site of Abbaye de Bourras is located in the vicinity of Oulon. Further afield in the region are the Château des Évêques d'Auxerre, the Château de Gérigny and the Abbaye de Corbigny.
Nature
The Étang d'Oulon is an artificial pond with its own ecosystem. It is a natural recreational area and popular with anglers. Visitors can have lunch on the banks of the Étang d'Oulon.
