The Oppidum du Mont-Beuvray, also known as Oppidum de Bibracte, is likewise located within the municipality of Glux-en-Glenne and was classified as a historic monument by decree of 25 September 1984.

Culture
The European Archaeological Centre in Glux-en-Glenne brings researchers and students together to advance knowledge of Bibracte and archaeological research into the Iron Age.
At the Sources de l’Yonne in Glux-en-Glenne, three small Gallo-Roman temples and coins minted by the Haedui before the Roman conquest were discovered within a large enclosed area. The springs were already visited in antiquity.
The parish church of Saint-Denis is documented as having an apse dating from the 12th century, and the commissioning of work on the present-day church on 11 March 1873 is also recorded. The Le Sud Morvan contemporary architecture route also includes the European Archaeological Centre of Mont Beuvray in Glux-en-Glenne, with its ancillary buildings, including accommodation and a restaurant for researchers.
Nature
The path to the Sources de l’Yonne begins at the car park in the hamlet of Port des Lamberts, beyond the RD300 bridge over the Yonne. From there, it crosses a peat bog via a wooden walkway and then continues through a beech forest to the source of the Yonne.
The multi-day hike Vers les bois du Folin passes through the Bibracte archaeological site, across the classified site of the Sources de l’Yonne and Mont Préneley, and onwards to Haut Folin, the highest peak in Burgundy. The route is 39 km long and passes through Glux-en-Glenne.
The Circuit de Trail: Boucle n°2 de Glux-en-Glenne trail runs at elevations between 630 and 760 metres, has 200 metres of ascent and offers open landscape views across the Morvan uplands. Boucle n°3 leads to a viewpoint at an altitude of 815 metres, from which the view can extend as far as Mont Blanc.
The Bibracte archaeological site on Mont Beuvray is freely accessible all year round.
Routes
The Centre-ville de Bibracte circular route is 6 km long, marked in green, and provides an overview of the main remains of the Gallic city through explanatory information boards.
The Chemin de maraude is a 3 km circular route marked in yellow, with spectacular panoramic views over the Morvan. The Tour des remparts is 5.2 km long, marked in pink, and runs along the former Gallic fortifications and through a deep forest.
The Morvan trail base in Glux-en-Glenne includes the À la conquête de Bibracte circuit.
