Wine and Tradition
The annual Trois Glorieuses takes place on the third weekend in November and begins at the Château du Clos de Vougeot. Every year, the members of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin meet for 16 chapters. At present, around 80 different owners share 50 hectares at the Clos de Vougeot. The Pinot Noir grape variety reveals one of its finest expressions at the Clos de Vougeot.

Getting Around
The nearest railway station to the Château du Clos de Vougeot is Vougeot-Gilly-Les-Cîteaux. The Chemin des Grands Crus is signposted in both directions; in addition, signs featuring a grape mark the way. As an 87-kilometre hiking trail, it passes through 29 renowned wine-growing villages and also includes the Clos de Vougeot.
The provisional, unofficial cycling route “voie des vignes” follows small roads through wine-growing villages with prestigious appellations, including the Clos de Vougeot.
