Ménéac: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Le Gast is the oldest village in the municipality of Ménéac. Houses from various centuries can be found there; the megalithic monuments of Ménéac include the Camblot menhirs.

Culture and History

One house there was built in 1574. Another house dates from 1728 and bears the inscription IHS, a Christogram, on a lintel.

The megalithic monuments of Ménéac include the Camblot menhirs. The Menhir de Bellouan is seven metres high, while the Menhir du Chauchix is five metres high.

Several ancient sites are located in the wider regional surroundings of Ménéac: La Fontaine de Barenton, Le Chêne de Guillotin, Hotié de Viviane and Tombeau du Géant. Bel Air, a mountain, is also located in the wider regional surroundings.

The Jardins de La Peignie comprise 450 varieties of old roses as well as 200 specimen trees and shrubs planted over 1.6 hectares. Cultural and festive events take place there.
