Culture and History

The Fontaine Saint-André is a double fountain made of hewn stone, built at the beginning of the 17th century. One part served the village, while the other served the adjoining chapel. The Chapelle Saint-Jean in Crach dates from the 16th century. The Pardon de Saint-André takes place on the second Sunday in May.

The Chapelle du Plas-Kaër was inaugurated in 1874 on the site of an older chapel built by the Knights Templar in the 15th century, and is shaped like a Neo-Gothic Latin cross. The Chapelle Saint-André houses a Merovingian granite sarcophagus, described as one of the oldest monuments in the Morbihan département.

The Allée couverte du Luffang and the Dolmen de Kervin-Brigitte are important megalithic sites in Crach and are freely accessible. The Dolmen du Petit Kerambel is a Neolithic tomb with a passage leading to a burial chamber. The Menhir de Kervive is a Neolithic menhir dated to between 7,000 and 4,500 years before the present.

Landscape and Water

The Anse de Kervilor features numerous oyster-farming parks. Near Kerdavid stands a 300-year-old chestnut tree, considered one of Brittany's remarkable trees. The Moulin à marée du Latz is one of the attractions in Crach.

Cycle Paths

The Douar ha Mor cycle path in Crach is an easy route that can be used year-round, starting at Place Le Méné. Along the Douar ha Mor cycle path, two twin fountains are located in a wetland 50 metres from the chapel.

The Circuit des trois ponts and the Circuit de la rivière d'Auray are easy cycle paths in Crach that can be used year-round. The Église Saint-Thuriau is a designated stop on a cycling circuit through Crach.
