Nature

Rocher Saint-Guillaume is located at the highest point of Montlouvier, 184 m above sea level. From there, it offers a wide panorama of the surrounding landscape.

Culture

The architectural heritage includes Manoir des Alleux, a unique stately manor house in Louvigné-du-Désert with a staircase tower and a square tower. The “la carrière de la Morinais” quarry extracts Louvigné’s blue-grey granite over an area of 18 ha; the Circuit de la Morinais passes by this quarry. Manoir de la Morinais is part of the municipality of Louvigné-du-Désert’s remarkable cultural heritage.

Chapelle Saint-Jean was built in 1540 on a sanctuary dating from 1150. The village of La Clémençais preserves remarkable architectural elements from the 17th century, including round-arched doors and chamfered window openings. Chapelle Notre-Dame du Planty contains three statues from Bogotá and two depictions of Saint Lawrence.
