Lillemer: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Lillemer is a stop on numerous routes through the Marais de Dol. In the Marais de Dol near Lillemer, drainage canals and quiet paths invite you to go for walks; at the same time, the area is suitable for cycling tours. A 43.3 km-long variant of the Saint-Malo–Dol-de-Bretagne stage of the Mon Tro Breizh® also runs through the marshlands and Lillemer.

Culture

The present-day parish church of Saint-Eloi in Lillemer was rebuilt in 1837 after the former church, dating from the 13th century, had been threatened with deterioration at the beginning of the 19th century. Its neoclassical façade features four pilasters and a triangular pediment. The interior furnishings were created by Jean-Gabriel Frangeul together with Joseph de Rochefort, a cabinetmaker from Saint-Malo.

Château de la Ville Huchet is a castle in the surroundings of Lillemer. Also located nearby are Abbaye Notre-Dame de la Vieuville as a historic site, Fort de la Cité as a fortress, and St. Louis Bastion as a historic site.
