History and Culture

The Church of Saint Hubert in La Nouaye is protected as a historic monument. It includes a chapel dedicated to Saint Hubert and the Virgin Mary, designed in the same style as the portal. The Church of La Nouaye was probably built in the 15th to 16th century. In addition to religious services, the Church of Saint Hubert also hosts music concerts, cultural events and local activities that are open to everyone. La Nouaye is considered a very old parish that probably existed before the 9th century.

The Calvary Cross of La Nouaye was originally an 8-metre-high monument. The remains of the Calvary Cross of La Nouaye are classified as historic monuments.

Hiking and Trails

The Circuit des trois rivières is signposted with yellow trail markers. This circular route passes by the small village of La Nouaye, leaving the village on the left.

The Circuit de la haie Saudrine No. 106 is an easy 4 km-long hiking trail with a duration of approximately one hour. It starts at the car park by La Nouaye Town Hall.

The equestrian centre in La Nouaye was founded in 1992 and offers riding lessons, activities and competitions for all levels. Free downloadable routes for hiking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding and trail running are available for La Nouaye.
