Dinard: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Dinard can be discovered through its architecture, coastal landscape, parks and maritime activities. Villa Les Roches Brunes is protected as a historic monument and is opened to the public for cultural events.

Culture

A guided architectural promenade at Pointe de la Malouine passes the famous villas and provides an introduction to the history of the luxurious seaside resort and the polychrome and eclectic architecture of the Belle Époque. A guided tour of the Saint-Énogat cemetery presents the stylistic diversity of its graves and mausoleums as part of Dinard’s history.

Coast and Paths

The Promenade du Clair de Lune runs through the centre of Dinard between Pointe du Moulinet and Plage du Prieuré. The promenade features a palm garden as well as Art Deco villas and neoclassical hotels. The paths and trails in Dinard offer opportunities for walks among villas, architectural features, coves, beaches and viewpoints. Plage du Prieuré is sheltered at the far end of the bay of the same name.

Nature

Parc de Port Breton is a 23-hectare urban park opposite Plage du Prieuré. It has a rose garden with 2,000 plants and includes an animal park.

Activities

The Wishbone Club at Plage de l’Écluse offers courses and training in windsurfing, catamaran sailing, sea kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.

Food and Drink

Atelier Retour de Pêche at Plage du Prieuré combines an introduction to gathering cockles, clams and razor clams at low tide with a tasting of Breton specialities. Dinard’s market takes place all year round on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings at Esplanade des Halles on Place Rochaïd.
