Loqueffret is located in the eastern part of the Parc Naturel Régional d'Armorique. The Chapelle Notre-Dame de la Croix was built in 1522; the Château du Rusquec was originally constructed as a medieval fortified castle with towers and a curtain wall.
Culture and history
The structural elements of the Château du Rusquec have been listed as historic monuments since 1986. Historical guided tours take place at the Château du Rusquec throughout the year by prior reservation.

Hiking and nature
The Circuit pédestre du Chaos de Mardoul is an easy 11 km hike lasting 2 hours and 30 minutes. It begins at 2 Place de la Mairie in Loqueffret and follows the former paths of the Pilhaouerien to the Chaos de Mardoul.
The Chapelle de la Croix is located on the edge of the Bois de Bodriec in Loqueffret. At the Chaos de Mardoul, visitors can cross the Ellez via a footbridge or a bridge. Visitors can also discover the Ellez, its ford, the rocky chaos and small whirlpools there.
