Landrévarzec: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Landrévarzec combines sacred heritage, an extensive garden, an 8.03-kilometre circular trail and insights into the world of mills.

Culture and sacred heritage

The Chapelle Notre-Dame de Quilinen has been classified as a Monument historique since 1990. From October to June, it is open on the third Sunday of each month from 14:00 to 17:00, and daily in July and August from 14:00 to 18:00.

The Église Saint-Guénolé is a stage on the Tro Breiz, a pilgrimage honouring the seven founding saints. It has a three-bay nave with side aisles, a transept with a polygonal chapel to the south and a deep, flat-ended choir. The year 1762 is displayed at the foot of the bell tower on its western façade. Near the church, local tradition attributes the healing of eye ailments to the Fontaine Saint-Jean.

Nature and gardens

“Un jardin à Landrévarzec” extends over more than 1.6 hectares and offers views across the Steïr valley. The garden contains trees, shrubs and perennials from Europe, Asia, Africa, America and Oceania. Streams, a Japanese-style garden, ponds and an exotic garden are also part of it. On Sundays and public holidays, “Un jardin à Landrévarzec” can be visited from 14:00 to 18:30 as part of a self-guided tour.

At the lower edge of Landrévarzec, the Jardin des Mares invites visitors to take a relaxing break.

Trails and regional insights

The “Campagne et patrimoine à Landrévarzec” circular trail is 8.03 kilometres long. It starts at the Place de la Fontaine behind the Église Saint-Guénolé; according to the route description, there is a large free car park there.

At the Moulin du Crecq, Jean Istin explains the life of mills and provides an introduction to the production of flour.

Practical information

A disposal station for motorhomes is available to visitors in Landrévarzec.
