Bourg-Blanc: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

All hiking trails in Bourg-Blanc begin at the car park by the lake near the Centre Nautique. The published hiking routes range from 8.5 to 14.2 kilometres. Bourg-Blanc lake also has a fishing area designated as a family course.

Culture and History

The Saint-Urfold site includes a spring and a chapel. The Chapelle Saint-Urfold contains the hermit's grave in a simple, uninscribed sarcophagus with an elongated opening through which pilgrims pass. The Pardon de Saint-Urfold traditionally takes place on Whit Monday.

The Notre-Dame church was built in 1770 and is listed as a historic monument. Its bell tower is built on gable walls and features, at bell-chamber level, a double gallery resting on corbels. The Chapelle des Trépassés is a former ossuary.

The Musée breton de la photographie et du cinéma presents the technical development of photography.

Nature

The continental type 1 ZNIEFF “ETANG DE KERIVES” (national identifier 530020049) is located in the municipalities of Plabennec and Bourg-Blanc. It covers 12.37 hectares at an altitude of 64 to 69 metres and is described as a former quarry pond crossed by a stream, with banks lined by willows and areas of marshland that carry water intermittently.
