Tréveneuc presents a varied picture along its coast: at Port-Goret Beach, the tide reveals an extensive sandy area that provides space for summer leisure activities. In summer, activities such as football, volleyball, boules and racket sports are available there. Saint-Marc Bay primarily serves as an anchorage for small boats.

Nature and trails

The GR34 long-distance hiking trail runs along the entire coast of Tréveneuc. In addition, the Kerpont Trail is accessible to people with reduced mobility. The circular route “Les Quatre Bois – Pointe du Bec de Vir” in Tréveneuc is designated as an easy 6 km hike; the stated duration is between a minimum of 1 hour 30 minutes and a maximum of 2 hours.

Culture and history

The parish church of Saint-Colomban in Tréveneuc is an 18th-century building that preserves a 15th-century section, namely the southern transept arm. In the second half of the 19th century, it was extended by two southern side wings. The church stands on the axis of the Château de Pommorio in an elevated churchyard enclosed by a slate and granite wall.

The Château du Pommorio itself also bears several historical layers: its main building was constructed around 1770 and extended in the mid-19th century. The Château du Pommorio is a listed architectural heritage site in Tréveneuc. The Chapelle Saint-Marc was probably built in the 15th century, altered in the 17th and 18th centuries, and restored at the end of the 20th century.
