Trébrivan: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

In Trébrivan, the Hyères Valley provides a special natural setting. Since 2015, the Dre ar Winojenn association (“Along the paths”) has opened several hiking trails. The routes and coloured markings of the hiking trails can be viewed locally in the car park by the church.

Culture

Near the church in the centre of Trébrivan is the Sainte-Anne Chapel, which dates from 1627. Inside, there are several statues of the Holy Trinity, as well as a painting depicting a traditional scene: Saint Anne teaches the Virgin Mary to read. The colourful altarpiece is one of the protected objects in the chapel.

The Church of Notre-Dame de la Pitié dates from the 15th century. The Chapel of Saint-Tugdual, dating from the first quarter of the 18th century, and the Chapel of Notre-Dame-de-la-Clarté, which contains a fragment of a Calvary, are also part of the village’s sacred history.

Historical details

The cemetery cross in Trébrivan also bears a special historical detail: it dates from the 19th century and reuses elements from a Calvary that once stood outside.
