Sévignac combines nature trails, religious architecture and historic local details to create a diverse picture of the municipality.

Nature and trails

The Circuit des Etangs is an 11 km circular trail with a duration of 3 hours. The Sentier botanique de la Ville-Es-Brets is included along the route as a point of interest.

Chapels and religious traditions

A stained-glass window in the Chapelle St-Cado depicts an episode from the legend of Saint Cado. The chapel has been fully restored true to the original.

The present-day Chapelle St-Gilles de Brondineuf stands on the site of an earlier chapel dating from the 14th century. A service in honour of Saint Gilles is still held there at the beginning of September.

The Lourdes grotto at Rochereuil is associated with the Pardon de Notre-Dame de Rochereuil on 15 August.

Architectural heritage

The Moulin de la Ville-es-Brets has been renovated and features a distinctive fireplace, a Romanesque-style door and several remarkable stones inside.

The Église Saint-Pierre dates from 1874. Its floor plan is in the shape of a Latin cross; it includes a freestanding bell tower, a five-aisled nave with side aisles, a transept and a choir flanked by two chapels. The choir was renovated in 2019.

Sévignac is located near the RN 12, which connects Rennes with Brest via Saint-Brieuc.
