A footpath runs around the Moulin de Corbel pond. Fishing is possible at the pond. The Moulin de Corbel is a grain mill in Saint-Trimoël; it still includes a reservoir and sluices as parts of its hydraulic system.

Saint-Trimoël is located 10 kilometres from Moncontour, which is classified as a medieval town.

Culture

The connection between craftsmanship and water is also evident at other mills. The diversion canal of the Moulin Rault is still present. The Moulin Rault is a decommissioned and restored industrial facility; the grain mill known as the Moulin Rault is now a residential building. The La Chaussière grain mill dates from the 19th century. The Moulin de la Chaussière is considered a craft mill with an elongated floor plan and used water power generated locally.

Nature

The Gouessant shapes its course according to the obstacles it encounters.
