Culture

The listed ensemble of Saint-Nicodème parish church includes a walled churchyard, a cemetery and a calvary. The transept and nave date from the first half of the 17th century and follow a 16th-century ground plan. The parish church has the French heritage protection status “inscrit MH” and is registered as a historic monument.

Nature

Crec'h an Bars in Saint-Nicodème is part of the Natura 2000 area “Têtes de bassins versants du Blavet et de l’Hyères”. At Crec'h an Bars, the terrain forms a depression of slightly more than 100 hectares, where distinctive vegetation of peat bogs and wet heathlands has developed.

In the Gorges du Corong, the Follézou stream flows beneath the rocks of the chaotic rock landscape. Mosses and ferns cover the shaded sides of these rocks. From the car park, you can take the Minez Guellec circular hiking trail, which leads to the Gorges du Corong.

The “Boucle de St-Nicodème” cycling tour starts in Saint-Nicodème. In Convenant Tannou in Saint-Nicodème, Natural Ranch Horse is an equestrian centre offering riding lessons and other activities.
