Saint-Méloir-Des-Bois: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Four Roman columns have stood on the Place du centre in Saint-Méloir-Des-Bois since 1961.
Culture
Roman columns and milestones are on display outdoors. One of the Roman columns, which was moved from the village of La Barbotais in 1825, is considered a milestone on the Roman road from l'Étrat between Corseul and Vannes.
The Église Saint-Méloir dates from 1828. Its organ was donated by the Chapelle Saint-Luc in Leicester, England. Inside the church, a fragment of a medieval cross discovered in 2003 was placed; it came from the hamlet of Le Domaine in the village of Le Miroir.
Four historic sites are located in the vicinity of Saint-Méloir-des-Bois: Hunaudaye Castle, Le temple de Mars, Abbaye de Saint-Aubin-des-Bois and Prieuré de Saint-Gallery.
