Saint-Caradec: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Chapelle Saint-Quidic is secluded in a fir forest. It preserves 16th-century remains: the tracery of the chancel gable and the chancel credence table. The Pardon de Saint-Quidic takes place every year on the first Sunday in July.

The Moulin Neuf already existed before 1789. It had two pairs of grain millstones driven by wooden paddle wheels. In the 1920s, these wooden paddle wheels were converted into metal turbines. There is also an 18th-century cross in the Saint-Caradec cemetery, which is protected as a historic monument.

Hiking and cycling

The Rigole d’Hilvern is an artificial watercourse connected to the Canal de Nantes à Brest. Its restored towpath is a greenway for hiking, horse riding and mountain biking. Route V8 runs from Saint-Caradec towards Mûr-de-Bretagne for several kilometres along the former railway line.
