The Église Notre Dame in Pommerit-le-Vicomte combines several historical layers: it was rebuilt in the 20th century and preserves the 14th-century chancel; its bell tower is considered more recent architecture and was built between 1704 and 1712.
Culture
The Église Notre Dame contains 17th-century confessionals, 15th-century alabaster works, as well as old statues of Saint Michael and Saint Anthony.
The Chapelle Notre-Dame-du-Folgoat was rebuilt in 1839. It houses a polychrome wooden statue of the Virgin Mary, which is presumably the oldest piece of its furnishings. At the chapel, the Association des amis de la chapelle de Folgoat organises a two-day festival every year on the second weekend of July.
The Chapelle du Paradis is a complete and intact example of Breton architecture from the 15th to the 16th century; only the base of its Calvaire, decorated with the twelve apostles, remains. Throughout the year, particularly in summer, the chapel is open for guided tours provided by volunteers. A festival takes place on the chapel grounds every year on Ascension Day.
The Château du Restmeur was completely rebuilt in several construction phases during the 18th century. These include the stables, the chaplain’s house, the chapel and the guard’s pavilion. Pommerit-le-Vicomte is represented by its Bagad and the Celtic circle Korriganed Panvrid; both ensembles regularly receive awards in traditional competitions.
History
The Moulin de Restmeur is a grain mill on the Trieux in Pommerit-le-Vicomte. It dates from before the French Revolution; a survey in 1848 recorded two water wheels there.
The Motte du moulin de Pommerit is a castle or manor motte in Pommerit-le-Vicomte. The motte and the property on which it stands, including the entire cadastral parcel 1995 YE 96, have been fully protected as a historic monument since 28 November 1995.
The Moulin de Pommerit also dates from before the French Revolution and bears the chronogram “1760 m: le grollet” on a lintel on the rear façade. A survey in 1848 recorded the Moulin de Pommerit with two water wheels.
Nature
The Trieux flows west of Pommerit-le-Vicomte; its banks offer opportunities for hiking.
Les Randonneurs du Pays du Leff organise hikes and is responsible for marking and maintaining hiking trails. Those interested can take part in a trial hike with Les Randonneurs du Pays du Leff.

Pommerit-le-Vicomte is approximately 20 to 40 minutes from the main towns of Guingamp, Paimpol, Saint-Brieuc and Lannion, thereby providing quick access to larger tourist destinations.
