Every year, the Pardon de Le Merzer takes place on the third weekend of September as part of Le Merzer’s annual cycle of events. The festival includes a parade of old tractors through the municipality’s streets and an exhibition of old agricultural machinery.

Culture and History

The Manoir du Traou combines several historical features: its main construction phase dates from the 16th century, and under a decree dated 22 February 1926, it is protected as a historic monument through registration. In the centre of its façade, the Manoir du Traou has a traditional staircase-tower structure.

The local cultural landscape also includes the Chapelle Saint-Yves et son placître. It is located in Traou Hubert in Le Merzer.

The departmental road RD 9 connects Guingamp and Lanvollon. The departmental road RD 65 connects Pommerit-Le-Vicomte and Saint-Jean-Kerdaniel.
