Nature and Trails

Quemper-Guézennec has two mountain-biking circuits: a 17 km family-friendly loop and a 34 km route across the hills of Leff and Trieux.

The 11.5 km Circuit de Frynaudour passes the port of Goas Vilinic, the towpath, the confluence of the Leff and Trieux, and the Chapelle Saint-Maudez. It runs through an area protected for its landscape, fauna and flora, and designated, among other things, as a type 1 ZNIEFF.

The Circuit Fleuriot de Langle follows country lanes and surfaced paths through the wooded Jaudour Valley and passes the valleys of the Kergoc, Kerlouët and Jaudour streams.

Water and Leisure

The Port de Goas Vilinic is a small port on the banks of the Trieux, located in the estuary within the territory of Quemper-Guézennec. The port of Goas Vilinic mainly accommodates small boats and is suitable for gentle water-based leisure activities and river fishing.

History and Culture

The Château de Frynaudour stands on a rocky promontory at the confluence of the Leff and Trieux. The grounds of the Château de Frynaudour are privately owned, form part of the classified Trieux and Jaudy estuary, and were overgrown with vegetation in 2024.

The Church of Saint-Pierre was rebuilt in 1870 on the site of a 15th-century church; the stained glass of the 15th-century church depicts prophets and apostles.

Paul Antoine Fleuriot de Langle was born on 1 August 1744 at the Château de Kerlouet in Quemper-Guézennec. The 18th-century sailor and explorer from Quemper-Guézennec was second-in-command of the La Pérouse expedition.
