Lannion: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Lannion is crossed by the Léguer, which carries the “Rivière Sauvage” classification. The town has 180 hectares of accessible green spaces, including parks, gardens and valleys within the town. The right bank of the Léguer is protected by the Conservatoire du littoral from Lannion to the river mouth.
Culture and History
The “Balades urbaines de Lannion – Circuit du centre-ville” walking tour leads through Lannion’s historic town centre, with its narrow streets and half-timbered houses. Notable buildings include the Maison du Chapelier, a half-timbered house with a shop dating from the 16th century at 29 place du Général-Leclerc in Lannion.
Religious buildings also shape the town’s attractions. The Chapelle des Ursulines is a former religious building that has been converted into an exhibition space for contemporary art. The Chapelle Saint-Joseph was completely rebuilt between 1936 and 1937, with local craftsmen from the Trégor given priority.
The Chapelle Saint-Joseph is accessible exclusively by arrangement with the Association Saint-Joseph. Among other activities, ARSSAT offers guided tours during the European Heritage Days.
Markets
The Halles de Lannion are a covered market hall on Place du Miroir and are open from Tuesday to Saturday morning. They offer, among other things, fresh fruit and vegetables, Breton specialities, fresh crêpes and galettes.
Paths
The “Balades urbaines de Lannion – Circuit Brélévenez–Stanco” walking tour leads around the Église de Brélévenez, over its staircase with around 142 steps and through the Stanco.
The 12-kilometre-long Sentier Émile Orain is accessible on foot and by bicycle and connects Lannion directly with Perros-Guirec. The Lannion tourist information office offers bicycle hire with electric assistance by prior reservation.
