Kergrist-Moëlou: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The parish complex of Kergrist-Moëlou is considered exemplary of the religious art of central Brittany and the most significant complex of its kind in the Côtes-d’Armor département.

Culture

The complex includes the parish church of Notre-Dame, which was built from 1550 to 1554 by Pierre and Guillaume Jézéquel for Richard Paul, C. Lostec and F. Borgne. The Saint-Lubin Chapel dates from the mid-16th century; its west façade was added in 1767.

At the centre of the parish complex stands the calvary of Kergrist-Moëlou, which has been classified as a Monument historique since 1921. Every year, the Pardon at Notre-Dame de l’Isle is celebrated on the penultimate Sunday in August.

The oldest yew tree in the parish complex is probably around 700 years old. The Saint-Lubin Chapel and its large spring are traditionally associated with the alleviation of rheumatism.
