The Church of Saint Blaise has been protected as a historic monument since 23 July 1976. Its chevet preserves a cornice with modillions featuring sawtooth ornamentation dating from the Romanesque construction phase. The church was dependent on a priory affiliated with La Chaise-Dieu Abbey.
The history of the village is also connected with Lucien Gachon: he was born in Guillerie, a hamlet of La Chapelle-Agnon, and is considered one of the most important geographers of his generation.

Nature
The La Chapelle-Agnon circular trail offers views of the Dore Valley, Haut-Forez and the Sardie Valley. The Bois de Pierre Blanche trail offers a panorama of the Chaîne des Puys and the Sancy Massif. As a circular trail, Bois de Pierre Blanche passes through the wooded landscape of Livradois, offering the chance to discover the white stone for which La Chapelle-Agnon is known.
Local production
The Savonnerie de la Goutte Noire has four soap-making cauldrons. In summer, it offers free tours on Mondays and Fridays at 3:30 p.m., during which visitors can learn about how the products are made. More than 100 product references are available in the Savonnerie de la Goutte Noire shop.
Le Chaudron du Fournioux processes jams, honey, nougat, syrups and other sweet specialities on site. Tastings are offered depending on the production available.
