The Church of Saint-Roch de Fortuniès in Dienne originated from a castle chapel that stood on this site in the 13th century. After the castle disappeared, it became a subsidiary church in 1842. Numerous elements of its interior furnishings date from the 18th century; the church is also listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments.

Culture
The Church of Saint-Cirgues in Dienne is a remarkable example of Auvergnat Romanesque architecture, with carved modillions and figuratively decorated capitals. It is open daily all year round with free admission; there is a car park nearby. The Church of Saint-Cyr et Sainte-Juliette was built in the 12th century and retains its Latin-cross floor plan.
The Maison de Site de Dienne is housed in a traditional farmhouse with a block layout, typical of Cantal architecture. A museum presentation there showcases local stones and Cantal's cultural heritage. The Maison de Site is free to enter, has an exhibition room and a car park nearby.
During work on the Château de la Cheyrelle between 1903 and 1906, furnishings specifically intended for the château were created. These include the furniture series known as “Silex” by Gustave Serrurier-Bovy.
Landscape and Trails
The signposted circular hike Tour du Limon et Rocher de Laqueuille is 10.4 kilometres long, starts in Dienne and passes by the Moulin de Drils. The restored watermill dates from 1807, is listed as a historic monument and operates on the principle of a horizontal water wheel. During the warm season from May to October, it can be visited on the first Monday of each month as part of the Association Dienne Patrimoine. The Tour du Limon et Rocher de Laqueuille offers views of the Santoire Valley and the Plateau du Limon.
The Rocher de Laqueuille is the last remnant of a former lava lake and is home to two peat bogs. The local flora and fauna can be observed there; possible wildlife sightings also include chamois.
The Chemin des Quiroux leads from Dienne to Cheylade across a plateau covered with piles of stones, or cairns. These are placed at intervals of approximately 20 metres to help travellers find their way in bad weather.
