Bassignac: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
In Bassignac, the Piste Verte Vendes connects the municipality of Bassignac with Bort-les-Orgues in the Corrèze département. The 18-kilometre route is free of charge and open to pedestrians, people with reduced mobility, cyclists and roller skaters. It is fully paved and can also be used with prams, scooters, balance bikes and roller skis.

Nature
The PR 22 hiking trail: Le Pic de Charlus is 4.4 kilometres long, takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, has 249 metres of elevation gain and is marked in blue. It leads to the ruins of the Château de Charlus. The Château de Charlus, known as Castrum Carlicium, was one of the most important fortresses in Haute Auvergne; today, only a few sections of wall remain.
Culture
The Piste des Arts takes place every year as an open-air exhibition along the Piste Verte; one of its three exhibition areas is located in Bassignac.
The Chapelle Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur is a Romanesque chapel dating from the 11th and 12th centuries and was listed as a historic monument in 1972. It has a rectangular nave, a semicircular apse, a bell gable with two twin openings and a western round-arched portal with the year 1778 on the lintel. The chapel can be visited independently; the keys are available from Bassignac Town Hall.
The present-day building of the Eglise Sainte-Marie, Sainte-Radegonde was constructed in the 12th century. In the 15th century, two side chapels were added and the western façade was remodelled or rebuilt. The church has been mentioned as being dedicated to Saint Mary since the 8th or 9th century. It can be visited independently; the keys are available from Bassignac Town Hall.
Experiences
The Labyrinthe maïs de Bassignac comprises two corn mazes and two sensory trails on either side of the Sumène. It includes large wooden games, pedal go-karts, an area for balance bikes and a slide.
Le Jardin Délirant is a colourful garden with changing textile installations, as well as a puppet theatre, hammocks, costumes, a fabric maze and rides in wheelbarrows.

The Ferme de Bassignac offers a farm visit during which visitors can get to know the selected Prim’Holstein herd, the calves and the robotic milking system. The Ferme de Bassignac is a family-run dairy farm that produces yoghurt, crème fraîche, fromage blanc and dessert cream.
