Vezels-Roussy combines short and longer hiking experiences with viewpoints, village culture and cycle routes through the Châtaigneraie cantalienne. Hiking
The “Crous Longue” hiking route is 5.5 km long, takes 1 hour 45 minutes, has 150 metres of elevation gain and is marked blue. This route also includes a 3.6 km family loop via Roussy with 120 metres of ascent. Another route is the “Vezels sud – Le Tronquet” hiking trail: it is 8 km long and has 350 metres of ascent.
Cycling
Vezels-Roussy lies on one of the 138 km-long cycling routes of the Romain Bardet Experience through the Châtaigneraie cantalienne, with 2,300 metres of elevation gain. A cycle loop starting from Vezels-Roussy runs via Labrousse, Carlat, Badailhac, Saint-Clément, Vic-sur-Cère, Polminhac and Vézac, before returning to Vezels-Roussy, and is used to explore the Cère Valley.
Landscape and Culture
Le Tronquet offers panoramic views over the Goul Valley. Another notable site in Vezels-Roussy is a viewpoint overlooking the Maurs body of water.
The Four banal de Roussy is a cultural and tourist heritage site in Vezels-Roussy. The church of Roussy has a bell tower with a crest finial. The parish church of Saint-Julien in Vezels-Roussy houses a bronze processional cross.
